The City of Hobart Eisteddfod Society is delighted to announce the dates for our 2026 event, proudly celebrating the incredible talent of performers from across Tasmania and beyond.
We look forward to filling the historic Hobart Town Hall with outstanding performances, passion and community spirit.
We can’t wait to welcome performers, teachers, families and audiences to the 2026 Eisteddfod!

Become a member & Friend of CHES now!
2025/26 Annual Membership/Friend of CHES - $50
Includes: A donation towards the running of the City of Hobart Eisteddfod, Full Membership of the City of Hobart Eisteddfod Society, Invitations to CHES Member events, the ability to vote at our Annual General Meeting and the ability to nominate to become part of the Committee each year. All memberships help to support our Performing Arts Eisteddfod.
*Membership/Friend of CHES doesn’t include access to the eisteddfod.

The City of Hobart Eisteddfod Society is lead by passionate volunteers who are committed to the ongoing success of the City of Hobart Eisteddfod Society into the future.
After a few years of governance instability, we have an elected committee who are determined to see our wonderful Eisteddfod continue upwards after 75 years, the team are keen to see the Eisteddfod expand and grow in the years to come with the support of the Hobart Performing Arts community.
